This comes following frontman Matt Healy made headlines for saying that dating Taylor Swift would have been a ‘demasculinating’ knowledge, and taking aim at the Conservative Government for appropriating a really related logo to theirs for their EU referendum campaign.

&#13

It’s been a runaway year of good results for The 1975, following topping the charts with their enormous second album, I Like It When You Sleep For You Are So Lovely Yet Unaware Of It.

&#13

Reviewing the record, we hailed it as ‘a trojan horse filled with nuances and surprising sounds’.

&#13

“The truth is, that these cuts act as a trojan horse to unload an album filled with nuances and idiosyncrasies. I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Lovely Yet So Unaware Of It is far more than pop.

&#13

“The eclecticism of this band is practically nothing brief of remarkable. I Like It When You Sleep is a record that owes as significantly to M83 as it does Madonna. In a world of beige pop, we welcome this flourish of colour. Exceeding the national average, excelling in pop and smashing your expectations – accept nothing at all significantly less from The 1975.”
