More than on the East Coast, Boston Calling also pulls a spring-fall double feature. The Memorial Day weekend Boston Calling moves from its initial home in City Hall Plaza down the street to Allston.

We love the name of this newer German festival. A Summer’s Tale returns for its next chapter this August. Franz Ferdinand has currently been tapped as their initial headliner.

Into the Valley

The organizers of Into the Valley took on the tough activity of finding a new venue as exclusive as their original place in Sweden. This year sees the fledgling festival take flight to Estonia at an abandoned limestone quarry on the site of a former prison. Even though they were at it, the group also announced new festivals at a castle in South Africa and a factory in Sweden.
